Whenever I am in a parking lot I tend to seek out the safest spot that will protect our car from the inadvertent door dings and fender rubs that tend to happen when we are in proximity with others.

I’m much less concerned with finding the closest or most accessible spot, rather the safest one in the lot.

In life we do a lot to protect the things that are the most important to us.I’m reminded of the importance of protecting our faith in the same fashion. Going the extra mile to secure ourselves in a way that we won’t be as impacted by the inevitable bumps and dings of life.

Who…and what…we park ourselves around in life matters. Park with wisdom.
